Evening!   4 comments

When I was a 4th grader in elementary school, our teacher told us that when a tree falls in the forest, if no one is around to hear it fall, it makes no sound what so ever. This has stayed with me ever since. And, it makes no sense. Just because no human is not there, has nothing to do with whether or not it makes a sound. I believe it will make a sound whether someone is there or not.

  1. It’s funny the things that stay with us over time.

  2. How would you be able to tell if it made a sound or not if you weren’t there?
