Sleep   Leave a comment

It’s my understanding that 8 hrs of sleep is about the norm. Sometimes I sleep longer and sometimes less. Physical labor or exertion will cause us to be tired so we probably might sleep longer. On the other side of the coin, when someone very close to us is ill, it causes worry and that will cause a loss of sleep.
It’s vital that the body has the proper amount of rest. Each part of the body needs time to re group so it can go again.
The heart slows down when we are at rest and it gets its rest. I know my legs need to rest rather often. They can’t go very far or very long without sitting down.
In conclusion,, I may need more rest than you. You may need less than someone else. It just depends on each others’ makeup and the way their life has been.
