The Little Plane That Wanted To Fly   Leave a comment

Although this poem is geared to children, it has something there about learning a lesson that all of us can learn from.
Once there was a little plane that wanted so much to fly. He would try and try so hard again and again. However, he just couldn’t leave the ground.
The little guy watched the bigger planes and how effortlessly they would take off and fly to their hearts’ content. He wondered, why couldn’t he fly like them?
However, that never stopped him from trying. Then one day an older and bigger plane came to town. He watched the little plane try hard over and over. And, as he watched him, he began to notice something. The little guy didn’t lack for trying, oh no. However, the bigger plane could see that the little one just didn’t have any self confidence. He didn’t believe in himself.
So, the two of them sat down and talked for a while. The older plane explained that as well as trying, he had to believe that he really could fly. So, he started telling himself, I believe I can fly. I believe I can fly. It took a while, but one day the little guy took off and left the ground! He was so happy! He flew for the longest time. When he landed, he knew. Try hard to do whatever and believe in yourself that you can!
If we look, there is beauty everywhere.

If we look, there is beauty everywhere.
